Athene Series Laboratory Air Conditioner is designed and developed by Phoenix specifically for laboratory environment.

Normal laboratory environment requirements:

Temperature control accuracy :18-28 ‿± 1 ℃Humidity control accuracy: 40% RH-60% RH, ± 5% RH.

High precision controlled laboratory environment requirements: Temperature control accuracy :18-28 ‿± 0.5 ₿~ ± 0.3 ‿

Humidity control accuracy: 40% RH-60% RH, ± 2% RH.

The main applications are: fiber testing, quality measurement, inspection and quarantine, chemical testing, information preservation, special revenue, military applications and so on.
Special Features 
The main model of Athene Series Laboratory Air Conditioner is air-cooled direct evaporation PDLA/PFLA.

In order to ensure the regulation of refrigerant capacity, Phoenix used the compressor and electric heating to achieve a constant room temperature

Equipped with a high-performance and large face area electric heater to avoid ionization effects. With thyristor regulator and linear heating material, it can achieve proportional-integral control, small inert, rapid heating and cooling. The electric heater can automatically adjust between 0%-100% to match the temperature. Electric heater attached a safety thermal protection to ensure safe and stable operation.

Use electrode-type humidifier which can be taken off from the air conditioner, produce clean steam rapidly, no white dust phenomena. In order to meet the national laboratory level, electric steam humidifier is available. This kind of humidifier has an independent controller and built-in evaporator to achieve precision control. It works with dual-dehumidification system to achieve constant humidity.

Using tap water, humidification accuracy ⇿?2% Rh. Using deionized water, humidity control accuracy can reach ± 1% Rh. The electric steam humidifier has a built-in thermostat system to ensure that the on / off adjustment process rapidly achieve the required amount of humidification.

Install a high sensitive sensor(accuracy ± 1Rh) in the laboratory to collect data to ensure the accuracy of temperature and humidity control system to meet the high requirements on room environment.

Cooling, heating and dehumidification are centralized controlled, but humidification is independently controlled. Both control modes are interrelated and work together to precisely control the temperature and humidity.

Independent temperature control, cooling and heating compensation system and proportional-integral control to achieve precise control of temperature.

Independent control wetlands, dehumidification and humidification compensation system and SCR proportional integral control to achieve precise control of humidity.

The joint method of both temperature control and humidity control can take care of the mini-space which is usually skipped over by normal air conditioner. In this way, the four main functions (cooling, heating, humidifying, dehumidifying) can be operated smoothly to realize precise control of temperature and humidity.

Phoenix Precision Air Conditioner is truly modularized. All modules have same height and thickness, only different in width. In transport and installation the air conditioner can be divided into multiple modules and then can enter the elevator or go through narrow channels easily.

For dual-module unit, the slave module plays the role of backup. When the main module is not sufficient to meet the requirements or is not working smoothly, the slave module will fully work as backup. For normal operation the main module and the slave module work in rotation mode.

Air supply modes and air return modes varied. Air supply modes include up air supply and down air supply. Air return modes include up air return, down air return, front air return, sidewall air return, back air return and so on.

Precision intelligent control system. Users can real-time monitor temperature and humidity parameters and running status of various units, and even can adjust various parameters after entering the password.

Super-networking feature and remote monitoring function. Support RS485, RS232, RS422, ModBUS, LonWORKS & BacNET, Support GSM mobile text and IP protocol SNMP and can control up to 16 air conditioning units.

Standard technical parameters based on refrigerant R22. Technical parameter based on R410a or R407c are also available

Using Copeland scroll compressor as core refrigeration parts, it can start quickly with low noise and high efficiency refrigeration. Using well-known brand as air blower, it can supply big volume air with low noise to ensure air circulation. Using evaporator with large face area for strong wind and small enthalpy difference to produce the maximum refrigerant capacity.
Main Function
Taking the design of strong wind and small enthalpy difference, automatically control the laboratory environment by cooling, heating, humidification, dehumidification to maintain constant temperature and humidity. The temperature and humidity in the laboratory can be controlled precisely to meet the testing needs.
